Yes, we finally have the details for the Ball! The delay has been because we have been searching for a new venue and cutting costs so we can offer you *cheaper tickets*. When: Saturday 30 August 2008 Where: North Adelaide Community Centre 176 Tynte Street, Adelaide (behind the North Adelaide Library) Time: The Hall will open at 7:30pm and the Parade Competition will start at 8pm sharp. Cost: We are doing a sliding scale this year, so it will pay to book your tickets early! If you buy your ticket before 30 June it is $25 for members and $40 for non-members, 1 July to 31 July is $30 members and $45 for non-members 1 August to 27 August is $35 for members and $50 for non-members (Booking close on 27 August - there will be no ticket sales at the door!) The cost includes a *light* supper (served late in the evening, so you will want to eat dinner before you come  )As usual, entry in the Parade and Workmanship competitions is free (though you still need to buy a ticket to the Ball) but you do need to be a current financial member of the Guild to enter. Please contact me (the National President) to get your entry forms. The Poster is now available in the Downloads area, as well as ticket forms for those who want their tickets posted to them. If you're in though Adelaide, you can also purchase your tickets over the counter at Dragon's Blood Creations, Peel Street, City. See you there! |
