You can now see the details for all of our events, from January to May on the guild home page, and the SA page:

http://www.australiancostumersguild.org.au/sa/

The rest of the year's events are below:

21 JANUARY - Workshop – Vac Forming

18 FEBRUARY - Event – Fairy Tale Picnic in Botanical Gardens (Fantasy)

17-18 MARCH - Workshop – Corset Making with Lynne

29 APRIL - Workshop – EVA Foam

12 MAY - Event – Western Theme (Historical)

17 JUNE - Workshop – Costuming Accessories

22 JULY - Casual Meetup – Ball Preparation

25 AUGUST - National Costumers' Ball

SEPTEMBER - 2007 A Space Oddity (Sci-Fi)

OCTOBER - Workshop – Take a Day – A day filled with a variety of workshops

18 NOVEMBER - Event - Creature Feature (Cosplay)

DECEMBER - Event - Xmas Party

The venues and times are TBA in many cases, and a couple of dates need to be confirmed, but I will keep you appraised of any updates smile.gif

Please note that you must RSVP for every event you wish to attend. With some of the workshops, we hire a hall, so we need to be sure that we can cover the hire costs, and in many cases, the expense is shared equally between the attendees. Although in some cases, we don't have costs to cover, we still would like to know who is coming, in case it gets rained out or something else happens and we need to know who to contact quickly.

Events on the list for 2008 include a super hero/comic book theme smile.gif If you have any other suggestions, or you would like to volunteer to do a workshop, please send me a PM smile.gif

There are also some great movies due out in 2007, including the next instalment of 'Pirates of the Caribbean', so if you would like to go to the movies in costume, please let me know and we can organise a group of us to go together smile.gif

Is there a date for this one yet??? SEPTEMBER - 2007 A Space Oddity (Sci-Fi)

I'm asking cos there's been a suggestion that we move the NSW august event (also sci fi), and I thought that maybe we could run ours on the same date in September.
