wow 2007 is almost over,
i finished most of my cosplays though a certain room mate has stolen a few of them
so UNIMPRESSED,
but anyways...

my haku is well under way now,
i need to start sewing him up,
though now my hair has been cut uber short it will be harder...

Ive also decided to try a maids dress and cosplay Mahoro form Mahoromatic Maiden ^^
the hair will be hard but i have a vague idea how to do it ^^
i have some dark blue chamois i picked up from Spotlight earlier this year,
i still need the white material for the apron however,
i had some really nice satin type material unfortunatly a friend picked it up for me and it was cream not white,
i may have to try and bleach it......

Well, anime cosplay wise, I'm doing Yurika from Nadesico for Brisnova 08

I promised to do Rukia from Bleach for Sydney Supernova this year but didn't get it finished in time so I'm doing that one next year.
I also promised to do Sanzo from Saiyuki for Sydney Supernova 08.

And if I can get those done I might just might be able to finish my Hiyuu Tatsuma cosplay from Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpuchou.

Thats going to be fun considering I work full time and don't have many days off. I WILL DO IT!!!

Arrrgh! I'm tossing up doing Yurika for Brisnova again and so I thought I'd look at the few reference pics I have at work - I just noticed a minor detail that I'd previously missed, that despite its minority it completely changes how I'm going to draft this costume. *dies*

Arguably it will possibly make things easier, but on the flip side, it means I have to get a new pattern now. T__T

Do you have the nadesico patch for that costume? If so where did you get it? I was tossing up doing the character Cat suggested as I already have a wig and shoes for it, but being unable to find the patch I don't think I can do it before Brisnova.

Haven't got the patches yet - I think I'll either do some iron-on-transfer fudging, or I'll see if the embroidering place in town can do up some patches for me. I'll have to investigate that soon, actually.
